Join me in supporting real change in Winston Salem. Let’s support Christian education, allowing Winston Salem Christian School to make a difference in our communities. Help us provision the new and beautiful campus for future generations of Lions to enjoy in Winston Salem NC!

We have secured $30,000 of award money to purchase and install IT Infrastructure. The challenging part of this award is that we must insert $15,000 into the award in order to receive the full benefit. This update in equipment will allow WSCS students to enjoy classrooms with the bandwidth and security that classrooms in 2020 require. We have contacted our internet service provider and will have 1 GB access speeds. We will be utilizing appliances from Cisco Meraki to bring our campus and classroom Apple and Epson devices full access to that bandwidth.

Additional funding is being directly applied to the following in an effort to keep safety as a primary asset of our new campus. We will be utilizing appliances from Cisco Meraki, Verkada, Avaya, and Ring to complete our business continuity and upgrades plans.

• Surveillance Cameras and Motion Detection Devices

• Acquisition and installation of technology for expedited notification to law enforcement during an emergency;

• Coordination with local law enforcement;

• Placement and use of metal detectors, locks, lighting, and other deterrent measures;

• Training for local law enforcement officers to prevent school violence.

Winston Salem Christian School is excited to announce the purchase of our new home at 3665 N. Patterson Avenue in Winston Salem NC. Re-enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year kicked off in January, and we will start our 41st year of education and ministry in August 2020.

The Branscome kids are growing up fast at WSCS! This year Meredith and my 5 kids represent First, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, and Ninth grades here at Winston Salem Christian School. We simply cannot find another school that offers comparable excellence on so many facets, within a single campus. We have enjoyed our 5 years here on such a family intimate level. I have to make sure I do everything I can to keep this educational option of love, culture, and diversity provisioned for families in the Triad, not just my family.

Landscape renovations are being completed to extend the beautification of the campus and be a benefit to the surrounding community. Previously this space was littered and unusable to anyone, and harmful to the perennial stream that is adjacent to the landscaping.

Below is a picture of our showcase classroom that shows an actual classroom at the new campus. It's exciting to see so many families, sponsors, and students putting in hours of donated labor and taking home dirty elbows and clothes with paint on them from all their hard work.
